As chief executive officer for Accenture North America, Jimmy Etheredge inspires 65,000-plus Accenture people in the United States and Canada to harness technology and human ingenuity to deliver value and responsible change for clients and communities. A member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee, Jimmy joined Accenture in 1985, became a partner in 1997. Prior to assuming his current role in 2019, he served as senior managing director of Accenture’s U.S. Southeast region, where he oversaw Accenture’s business across 10 states, including major markets such as Atlanta, Charlotte and Washington, D.C. Passionate about doing well and doing good, Jimmy drives the North American business’ bottom line, while simultaneously taking aggressive steps to improve the quality—and equality—of people’s lives. He champions programs for mental health and he fiercely advocates for people in under-served communities. Jimmy received a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. He lives in Atlanta, where he remains active with his alma mater and the local community.
