James Dallas, Two-Time Fortune 500 CIO

James Dallas is an accomplished senior executive with extensive experience as an agent of change in large domestic and international corporate settings. Previously serving as the SVP of Quality, Operations & IT at Medtronic Inc. and VP & CIO at Georgia-Pacific Corporation, Dallas has over 30 years experience in business operations roles & CIO positions. The majority of Dallas’ career has been focused on bridging the gap between strategy and execution, using IT both strategically and entrepreneurially. He is currently the President of James Dallas & Associates, where he consults and speaks to companies about managing change & executive leadership development in a digital world.

Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient

Ed Steinike, Former VP & CIO, Coca-Cola Company

Ed Steinike will be honored posthumously with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2019 Georgia CIO of the Year Awards. Steinike was the consummate Coca-Cola leader and ambassador, a man who led the technology operations with great care and competence. He began his tenure at The Coca-Cola Company as Chief Technology Officer in 2002, responsible for all technology, including networks, data centers, operations, data warehousing and systems architecture.
